Marla Selph has more than 20 years of experience in media and communications. She spent 18 years as a TV reporter covering stories such as Hurricane Harvey, city government, and healthcare. After her journalism days, Marla made the switch to healthcare PR, where her passion for storytelling and creative ideas really shine. She’s all about helping people share their stories—and she would like to tell yours too!

When she’s not working, Marla loves spending time with her two Boston Terriers, Brodie and Barkley. She’s always up for some sunshine and time outdoors, whether it’s a walk in the park or exploring a new part of town.

I used to perform in high school plays and was voted best actress and fastest talker by my high school class.
I have two Emmy Awards for documentaries I worked on during my journalism career.
Coffee, chocolate and queso are among my favorite things.
